Studying law at SFU Vienna offers a profound legal training with a high practical orientation.
Our study programmes are designed based on the Bologna model as a six-semester Bachelor’s degree course and a four-semester Master’s degree course.
Graduates have access to all professions requiring an Austrian law degree such as lawyers, judges, notaries and prosecutors.
Our academic staff is highly experienced in practice and research and provides student-centered teaching in small groups. A special focus is put on international dimensions of law as well as promoting communicative and mediating skills. This is done under the umbrella of a university dedicated to research and improve social, medical, and psychological aspects of human life. The Sigmund Freud University Vienna is the only Austrian private university offering regular legal studies.
All offered law degree programmes at SFU are currently only available in German.
